Connections allow your Skej assistant to access and interact with the tools you already use.
Once connected, your assistant can read information, perform actions, complete workflows, and answer questions using data from your connected platforms.

Required Scheduling Connections
During onboarding, you will be prompted to grant permissions for your calendar, contacts, and inbox. In order for your assistant to help with scheduling, you are required to grant calendar read/write permissions. This allows your assistant to view your calendar, read and modify existing events, and create new events.
Suggested Connections
We strongly suggest granting Contact permissions, as this allows the assistant to view your contacts, find contacts when scheduling new meetings, and save memories about contacts.
Video Conferencing
If you use Zoom, connecting your Zoom account will allow the assistant to include your personalized Zoom link on each meeting invite. Otherwise it will use your default video conferencing tool like MS Teams or Google Meet.
Additional Emails and Calendars
If you want to use your assistant across multiple emails, or have it check multiple calendars, you can connect additional Microsoft, Google, or Apple calendars. This way the assistant can view conflicts across all calendars, and recognize you if you email it from any of your email addresses.
New Connections in V7
V7 introduces additional platform connections. Your assistant can work with a growing list of third-party applications and services. Current beta integrations include:
Attio
AWS
Canva
Coding Tools
Fireflies
GitHub
Granola
Google Maps
Gusto
Linear
Monday.com
Notion
Salesforce
Stripe
Zapier
In addition, you can connect any other platform using MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.
How Connections Work
Once a platform is connected, your assistant can use that platform on your behalf while completing tasks. Instead of manually navigating multiple applications, you can simply ask your assistant what you want accomplished.
Example Use Cases
Meeting Notes & Summaries
Using Granola or Fireflies, your assistant can:
Review meeting notes
Extract action items
Summarize discussions
Identify follow-ups
Generate meeting recaps
Example: Review my meeting notes from yesterday and create a list of action items.
Product & Engineering Workflows
Using GitHub, Linear, and coding tools, your assistant can:
Review pull requests
Summarize recent development activity
Analyze issues and bugs
Create new tasks
Track engineering progress
Example: Summarize everything that changed in GitHub this week.

Payroll & HR
Using Gusto, your assistant can:
Access payroll-related information
Review employee records

Estimate commute durations
Suggest nearby venues
Assist with in-person scheduling
Example: Find a coffee shop halfway between me and Sarah for next week's meeting.
MCP Integrations
In addition to built-in integrations, Skej supports connections through MCP (Model Context Protocol). MCP allows you to connect additional tools, services, and internal systems beyond the integrations available by default. As the MCP ecosystem grows, your assistant can be extended to work with a wide variety of applications and workflows.
Beta Status
Most V7 integrations are currently in beta. While they are available for testing and experimentation, they have not yet been thoroughly tested across all workflows and use cases. We encourage you to:
Connect your tools
Experiment with different tasks
Test real-world workflows
Provide feedback on results
The fastest way to understand what an integration can do is simply to try it. If a platform is connected, ask your assistant to perform a task involving that platform and see what it can accomplish.
