Testing: Recurring Workflows to Try

Test ideas for recurring workflows

Recurring workflows allow your assistant to continuously perform tasks on your behalf based on a schedule or trigger.

Unlike one-time tasks, recurring workflows remain active and continue running until you modify or disable them.

Create a Recurring Workflow

In the dashboard, create a recurring task and describe the workflow you would like the assistant to perform. Examples:

  • "Every weekday at 8:00 AM, send me a good morning email with the weather in New York and pre-market news."

  • "Every Friday at 4:00 PM, send me a preview for Monday's schedule."

  • "Every Monday morning, remind me to review open action items."

  • "At the end of each month, send me a summary of my upcoming travel."

Meeting-Based Workflows

If meeting notes or meeting intelligence integrations are connected, the assistant can perform actions related to your meetings. Examples:

  • "After every meeting, send me a summary and action items."

  • "After every customer meeting, draft a follow-up email."

  • "Before each customer meeting, prepare a briefing on attendees and recent activity."

Research & Reporting Workflows

The assistant can periodically gather information and provide updates. Examples:

  • "Every morning, send me a summary of AI industry news."

  • "Every Monday, send me a report of upcoming meetings for the week."

  • "Every Friday, summarize open tasks and projects."

  • "Provide a monthly summary of activity related to a specific customer or project."

Personal Productivity Workflows

Examples:

  • "Remind me to have a great day every morning at 8:00 AM."

  • "Remind me to submit my expense report every Friday."

  • "Remind me to review my calendar every morning."

  • "Remind me to prepare for tomorrow's meetings at the end of each workday."

What to Expect

  • The assistant will create and schedule the workflow.

  • The workflow will remain active until modified or disabled.

  • The assistant will automatically execute the workflow according to the schedule or trigger conditions you provide.

  • You can update instructions at any time as your needs change.

Track the Workflow

Active workflows can be viewed in the dashboard under Planned Tasks.

There you can:

  • Review workflow details

  • Modify instructions

  • Pause or disable workflows

  • Monitor execution history

  • View completed runs

Recurring workflows are a powerful way to delegate routine work to your assistant and automate repetitive tasks over time.
